From this page you can take any of our online placement exams. If you have never taken a SMU placement exam please click on “Register new account.” The user name and password you create are unrelated to any passwords or user names you may have been provided previously by SMU.

If you have taken a SMU foreign language placement exam previously and wish to take an additional exam, you should use the same user name and password that you originally created. Please note that you will be charged $40 for each exam taken.
