--  French Club Cheese Tasting  --  A very popular fall event, open to the public.  Thursday, October 8,  5:00-7:00 p.m.,  Hughes-Trigg Ballrooms.  Tickets are $3 in advance, $5 at the door.  (Any students interested in helping with arrangements, please contact Professor Winandy at rwinandy@smu.edu).

-- Putting Your French to Work  --  tentatively planned for Wednesday, November 4,  6:00-7:00 p.m.   A panel of French and French-speaking  American professionals who will discuss career opportunities and advantages for  bilingual or multilingual graduates.  Watch this site for updates as details become available.
