Patricia Rawlins received her B.A. in Latin from the University of North Texas and her M.A. in Classics and Latin from the University of Texas at Austin.  She was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to the American Academy in Rome and also did post-graduate work in Linguistics at the University of Texas at Arlington. A veteran teacher at both the university and secondary levels, she has served as mentor for beginning teachers, a consultant for the College Board AP Latin program, a presenter at Classics conferences and seminars, and an executive board member of the Texas Classical Association.
